Just another Manic Monday. Not so much on East 51st Street, but I’m sure it is somewhere. And you can rest assured that no matter how manic your Monday may be, that there will be a brand new shiny QUARANTINE COMPOSITION sitting under your favorite social media tree.
So, the thing about writing is, you never really know where you’re going to end up. It’s all sort of, let’s go “that a way partner”. Sure you’ve got a concept. Some days you might even have a definite plan. “I’m definitely going that a way, damn it.”
Thank goodness “writing” doesn’t really care where you want to go. It just takes you where you need to be. And the destination is usually someplace completely different. Usually better. And always much more interesting.
And all that to say, that’s what happened with this week’s offering. It was a journey where I definitely knew where I was going (damn it), but… one that landed me with a front row seat at a little known (but always trippy) performance at the ACID THEATRE.
So, come with me if you will to “another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That’s the signpost up ahead – your next stop, the ACID THEATRE!”
